MISSIONS

We believe that missions is the heartbeat of God and is therefore very important to us as a church. Every year, we have multiple missionaries come to our church and share their ministry and vision. Each fall we host a World-Missions Conference during which we renew our prayer and financial commitments. We are grateful to have the opportunity to support around 20 foreign and domestic missionaries. In the fall of 2018, our church took our first mission trip to Belize, Central America. Below are a few quotes from team members that went

“It was a blessing to be a part of Lifeway Baptist’s first mission trip. Alongside the team, we were able to participate in mission work, understand the culture, and actively understand what it means to live a life of service to God on a foreign mission field. The memories and experiences continually impact my view of missions, how I pray for missionaries and their work, and the importance of contributing to their financial support.” -Lauren Pier

“Going on a missions trip to Belize was a great experience! I enjoyed learning the culture, meeting new people, and understanding the burden that the Lord has placed on the Lewis family for the country of Belize. I was also reminded that no matter where you go in the world, the need for people to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ is great. I returned home with a renewed sense of gratitude for the blessings the Lord has given me. I also have a greater appreciation for those who are willing to become missionaries in a foreign land.” -Mike Rennard
